Poem To Pan
I praise my immortal Lord Pan
Guardian and savior to all man
He leads the hunt and feeds the fields
All evil that cross shall always yield
His horns scare off the traitors
The village feast he always caters
All the nymphs he tries to swoon
But they all think him a buffoon
Yet by wearing the sheepskin
The Goddess Selene he did win
But the nymph Syrinx escaped his lust
She turned into reeds to Pan's disgust

Words of the Old Ones - Chalice Well, Samhain 2011
Words from the Mother........
'These flowing waters are the waters of birth from which all life flows,
This Ground is my body, from which all sustenance is provided,
The wind on your cheek is the breath from my lungs,
The spark of your life is from my Cauldron of Fire,
Without me you cannot exist, without me you are formless.'
Words from the Horned One........
'I am He who sets the seed, whose death fulfills lifes ongoing need, whose body is given for others to feed, yet who returns again to set the seed. Without my balance there can be nothing but strife, without my seed there can be no more life!'

embrace your own desire
an ember burning in the night.
Seer of the ancient sight
she watched mans first struggle in the mire
divine in her own right.
Now a blaze of glory to delight
before from the world light must retire
an ember burning in the night
divine in her own right.
Sitting in the church today
Rehearsing with the band,
I wondered how they would react,
To a sudden appearance of Pan.
First an utter silence,
Then some would dare to stand,
All would wonder at the presence,
Of the Wild One named Pan.
Then some of us would let out a shout,
And instruments in hand,
We would dance and play and dare to follow,
The footsteps of mighty Pan.
And I know many would hold back,
Making crosses with their hands,
Horrified at the one they call Devil,
The heathen God called Pan.
But their reluctance would not last,
The ones who dared holding out their hands,
And those in reluctance would finally join,
Tho
